what should i focus on during my first month live?

what should i do if i get banned?

how long should i stream for?

How do I find people to battle?

How do I find people to battle?

The first thing you should do when you get banned is try to appeal it yourself. If your appeal is denied or you do not have the option to appeal take a screenshot of the denied appeal and send it to your manager along with what happened when you got the ban. We will appeal it on our end & hopefully get your account in good standing.

We recommend streaming for at least 1 hour whenever possible, but never less than 30 minutes. You also need to get 5 followers each live to receive your full live rewards. TikTok rewards consistency and watch time, and it often takes time for your stream to be pushed out to new viewers. Ending too early can limit your growth opportunities

Minimum Goal Per Stream:

Stream for at least 30 minutes
Gain at least 5 new followers (can be unfollow & refollow if needed)

To receive your full TikTok rewards, you must:

Stay LIVE for a minimum of 30 minutes
Gain 5 followers during the stream

If you haven't reached those goals yet, consider staying on a little longer and continuing to engage with your audience.

Battles can be a great tool for growth, networking, and audience exposure when used correctly. Battle as often or little as you are comfortable with! This answer looks different for everybody, however there are a lot of benefits to running battles and it is very easy way to meet new people to co-host with in the future. Accept random requests, reminder that exposure therapy works!

What's Recommended:
Battle creators who match your energy, audience, and goals. Use battles as a way to meet new viewers, not as your entire content strategy

Remember, battles should enhance your stream—not replace it. The strongest creators know how to entertain, connect, and hold a room both during and outside of battles.

Best Practice:
Start your LIVE and warm up your room first
Build conversation and engagement
Begin battling once you have momentum

Focus on creating an experience people want to return to, and use battles as one tool to help grow your community!

If none of your friends are available to battle, look through the Lucid live stream following and make sure you’re following everyone there. Feel free to text me., your manager if you need some suggestions. You can also scroll down to the suggested cohosts section. Choose someone in a league slightly above yours. This is a great way to meet new streamers that are on at similar times as you and even some friends

Your manager is your dedicated coach and growth partner. They will check in with you regularly, review your streams, and work alongside you to develop strategies for growth, scheduling, content, battles, and audience building.

Communication is a key part of your success. Don't hesitate to reach out with questions, concerns, ideas, or challenges you're facing. No question is too small—we're here to support you, provide guidance, and help you continue improving as a creator.

How do gifts, diamonds, and getting paid actually work?

The easiest way to think about it:
1 Coin Spent = 1 Diamond Earned

So if your LIVE receives 10,000 diamonds, that means your viewers spent approximately 10,000 coins supporting you.

When it comes to your actual payout, 1,000 diamonds = approximately $5 in your creator earnings.

It’s important to understand both sides of this. The dollar amount you take home isn't the same as what your viewers spent. When someone sends you a gift, they're spending their own money to support you — so always recognize and appreciate that support, regardless of the size of the gift!

How do I get paid?

TikTok LIVE earnings are paid weekly through PayPal. You'll connect your PayPal account yourself directly through the TikTok app. Once it's connected, your weekly LIVE payout is sent to your PayPal automatically.

Payouts typically process late Sunday night into early Monday morning, depending on your time zone and processing time.

You can always check your earnings and payout information directly inside the TikTok app in the TikTok Studio tab found on your profile

Glove: While a glove is active, every gift sent has a 30% chance of hitting for 5x the points.

Tip: Sending multiple gifts while a Glove is active gives you more chances to hit the 5x, making it a great strategy for sniping and winning close battles.

Booster Power-Ups (x2 and x3): These make any gift sent by the person using the Power-Up worth double or triple the points during a battle. You’ll know who has an active Booster because their bubble will have a yellow ring circling around it. Boosters only work with your top three gifters in the battle, which are the three supporters shown in your bubbles.

Speed: This is the x2 or x3 multiplier that happens during a battle. To unlock Speed, you’ll need to complete the challenge shown on the screen. The requirement can change from battle to battle — sometimes it’s one person sending one gift, sometimes it’s four people each sending one gift, and other times it’s reaching a certain coin amount.

Your first month is all about getting comfortable, learning how LIVE works, and starting to build your community. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to have everything figured out right away. Focus on having fun, being consistent and getting comfortable on live.

The more you go LIVE, the more comfortable you’ll become talking to viewers, battling, using LIVE features, and figuring out what works best for you!

Use your first month to:

  • Build a consistent streaming schedule
  • Get comfortable talking and keeping your LIVE active
  • Meet other creators and start building battle connections
  • Learn how battles, Speed, Gloves, and Power-Ups work
  • Start recognizing and connecting with your regular viewers
  • Pay attention to what keeps people watching and engaging
  • Try different times, content, and strategies to see what works for you
  • Check your analytics and learn from each LIVE

Most importantly, don’t judge your progress by one stream — or even one week. Some LIVEs will be great and some will be slow. Your goal during your first month is to show up, learn, make connections, and start figuring out what kind of creator you want to be!

Because we all have questions — and yes, someone else was wondering too

Create your first stickers! Stickers are a fun way to give your LIVE a little personality and help your community feel more connected. Start with a couple of the basics, like W and MVP, then add more over time based on inside jokes, memes, or things that naturally become part of your LIVE.

You’ll also want to start thinking about a team/community name, aka your Fan Club name! This can happen naturally as your community grows, so don’t feel like you need to force it right away.

Your team is the group of people who consistently show up, support you, and become part of your LIVE. Focus on building real relationships with the people who keep coming back! Over time, you’ll naturally start to recognize your regulars, MVPs, mods, and the people who really make up your core team.

Mods (Moderators) can help keep the chat positive, welcome new viewers, answer basic questions, and handle anyone being disruptive so you can stay focused on your LIVE. Start small and choose people who are consistently there, understand your vibe, and who you genuinely trust!
